Services Site-Survey The site survey is used to evaluate the RF environment inside and outside the facility and to determine structural challenges, building codes and property management requirements. Future requirements are taken into consideration to ensure that the proper system architecture is utilized. Design
CSI design engineers utilize the facility's floor plans and data from a pre-installation
survey to create a detailed system design from a computer-generated model that
predicts the RF propagation within the facility. A link budget is also included
with the design that depicts power levels throughout the system, identifies
cable routes and equipment locations, and provides an uplink noise analysis.
Typical systems are designed to achieve a -85 dBm or better throughout 95% of
the required coverage area unless otherwise specified.
Installation
CSI's approach to each installation is to treat the facility as if it was our
own. As the installation takes place it is critical to allow organizations to
carry on their daily business without interruption. CSI works closely with the
local wireless service provider representative and facility manager to complete
a successful installation. The CSI price guarantee ensures that the system will
meet all of the RF performance and construction requirements.
Project Management CSI's team of professionals will ensure that your in-building project(s) are completed on time and within budget. This includes scheduling, procurement, construction approvals, union mobilization, safety and security clearance, system optimization and other requirements as determined by all parties involved. Post-Installation Analysis After the system has been installed, CSI will take measurements to ensure that the Distributed Antenna System (DAS) meets FCC regulations, wireless service provider standards and customer performance criteria. CSI has developed a set of testing guidelines for the optimization of each system. Typically, the size and complexity of the system will dictate certain testing parameters. At a minimum, RSSI, BER, and Tx power measurements are made to verify coverage as well as serving site ID in donor cell implementations. Record Keeping
Once a system is initialized and approved by all applicable parties, "as-built"
documentation is provided. From inception to optimization, all documents created
for this project are stored in an active archive for your reference.
Maintenance/Service CSI offers several service and maintenance options allowing customers to determine their required level of support. Product & Services FAQ
