Designer
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITY
Responsible for completion of As-Built documentation of installed Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS). Assist in designing cost-effective DAS for the purpose of enhancing RF coverage within buildings and structures in order to meet customer requirements.
DUTIES:
- Create As-Built documentation of recently installed systems using iBwave RFvu software
- Assist the Design and Project Coordination teams with generating formal design proposals and implementing specific customer requirements for project closeout packages as required
- Document RF survey information generated from the field using various RF evaluation software suites
- Update database with design information
- Verify accuracy and quality of the generated RF plots.Scan and format plans
- Communicate with project managers, installer and technical partners for the purpose of improving processes
- Maintain a professional, courteous and responsive attitude to customers and fellow employees at all times
- Other tasks as the Design Manager may assign
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Ability to read and interpret facility and architectural drawings
- Technical knowledge of electronics and general knowledge of Radio Frequency technology
- Fiber Optic technology desirable
- Ability to use CAD software
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
- High attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated teamwork skills
EDUCATION:
Minimum level: High School Degree
1 – 3 years of experience in related vocation or technical fields
