Design Technician
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITY
Responsible for importing floor plans and checking pre-install data for Design Engineers. Data entry of pre and post install information into the Database. Perform as-built designs and create as-built packages.
DUTIES
- Format all floor plans
- Scan drawings
- Review and check pre-install data for completeness and accuracy
- Convert designs to PDF format
- Perform as-builts
- Data entry of pre and post installation information into Access database
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED
- Attention to detail
- Data Entry skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with manipulating image files
- Auto-Cad knowledge preferred
EDUCATION
High School Degree or equivalent experience.
