Field Installation Technician I - New England Area (based out of NH)
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITY
To ensure the proper and timely installation of In-building Distributed Antennas Systems (DAS) in various customer facilities.
DUTIES
- Conduct Pre-Installation Site Surveys
- Install Distributed Antenna Systems at customer facilities which include running cable and mounting/installation of related equipment
- Assist in troubleshooting and repair of antenna systems
- Assist in commissioning of systems
- Represent CSI and interact professionally with external contacts
- Travel to various customer sites
- Maintain company tools and stock required equipment needed to perform work
- Work as a member of a team; with the ability to work independently
- Pack and unpack materials
- Responsible for safety and quality assurance
- Prepare and submit all reports (i.e. time logs, expense reports, etc.) in an accurate and timely manner
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED
- Ability to read and interpret facility drawings
- Understand and demonstrate standard cable practices
- Basic knowledge of Radio Frequency technology
- Willingness to travel – occasional overnight travel required
- Willingness to work flexible hours
- Effective communication skills with a variety of contacts
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company vehicle
- Strong customer relations skills
- Demonstrated teamwork skills
- Maintain a professional, courteous and responsive attitude to customers and fellow employees at all times
EDUCATION
Minimum level: High School Degree
1 – 3 years of experience in related vocation or technical fields
