Project Manager - Mid South (based in Texas)

 MAJOR RESPONSIBILITY

Responsible for managing customer installation projects within an assigned territory and providing technical support.  Recruit, train and manage technical partners.  Responsible for negotiating project installation costs.

DUTIES:

• Consult with customer and team to review project proposals, identify deliverables and determine staff and technical requirements
• Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure project is on-schedule and within budget
• Maintain positive customer relations 
• Provide technical advice and resolve technical problems
• Recruit and train technical partners to perform installation of in-building systems
• Perform pre and post installation site surveys
• Extensive travel to customer sites within region

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Understanding of Radio Frequency and Fiber technologies and knowledge of Distributed Antenna Systems
  Technical knowledge of electronics 
• Project Management experience involving wireless technology 
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings
• Knowledge of construction and safety requirements
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and project management software
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with a variety of contacts 
• Demonstrated teamwork and leadership skills
• High attention to detail
• Proven problem solving skills
• Valid driver’s license

EDUCATION:

Minimum level:   Associates Degree
Preferred Education:  Project Management certification; Degree in Electrical Engineering
Cisco CCNA certification highly desired. 
3-5 years of experience in related vocation or technical fields
