CSI Compliant with Applied Innovations - VZW Alarm Platform

CSI Bi-Directional Amplifiers and Digital Repeaters are now compliant with Verizon’s Applied Innovations Extend Platform and Approved for use throughout the Verizon Wireless network

CSI Bi-directional Amplifiers and Digital Repeaters are now compliant with the Applied Innovations- AI Extend Platform and have been approved for use in authorized in-building systems on the Verizon Wireless Network. CSI BDAs are configured to deliver alarming to the Verizon NOC using the Applied Innovations platform installed by Verizon. This new alarming capability can be provided on all CSI BDA’s and Repeaters that include digital displays. These CSI products:

• Are fully compliant with the Applied Innovations – Verizon Monitoring Platform
• Are Verizon Cellular and PCS Band Specific
• Can be configured to support multiple Cellular and PCS Frequency Pass Bands Simultaneously
• Include a user friendly interface with power meters and AGC indicators

CSI BDAs installed in advance of the Verizon Applied Innovations alarming capability can, in most cases, be upgraded to include alarming by CSI. Please confirm the upgrading compatibility with CSI if the BDA was purchased prior to November 2006.

The CSI Bi-Directional amplifiers and repeaters require a modem kit to provide the wireless access to the AI platform for alarming. The alarming kits are available from CSI.

Please note: A pending modification in the Applied Innovations software is in progress to allow dual band alarming to utilize a single modem but it will not be available until later in 2007.
