The Cellular Specialties, Inc (CSI) Product Division specializes in the development of high quality, reliable in-building wireless repeaters and handset position location enhancement devices. We also carry a complete line of system components including antennas, filters, and a multitude of passive devices to support wireless system implementations. Our repeaters and system components have been implemented in solutions throughout the US, Canada, Mexico and Europe.
Leading the way in product innovation
Over the past several years, the CSI Product Division has focused heavily on product innovation and thought leadership in the repeater industry. Utilizing state-of-the-art components, CSI is the first company to introduce a digitally filtered repeater capable of passing all of the wireless service provider spectrum requirements. The DSP85 repeater and the digital architecture the product embodies has become a requisite for the nation's largest wireless carriers.
In 2010, CSI also became the first company to successfully deploy a carrier approved product that improves in-building handset location systems. The CSI Co-Pilot Beacon is used to improve the location accuracy of mobile phone users inside buildings, facilitating public safety and the ability to provide location based services. The CSI Co-Pilot Beacon technology is considered the first viable solution for CDMA carriers and is the preferred method for one of the nation’s largest wireless carriers.
