DSP85 Power Supply Brackets
Beginning in December 2008, Cellular Specialties began shipping a redesigned power supply bracket with all new DSP85 units. The purpose of the new bracket design is to increase the airflow for better cooling for a more stable power output and extended life of the power supply.
We would like to extend the opportunity for all customers with the earlier style power supply to upgrade to the new style bracket at no cost.
Old New
Installation of the new bracket is as simple as loosening 2 screws in the existing bracket, removing the power supply from the bracket, removing the old bracket from the wall, and then reversing the process with the new bracket. Installtion time is approxmately 2 minutes per bracket and the repeater does not need to be taken off line during the procedure.
