Model 130 In-Line Booster
Extends Coverage
The Model 130 In-Line Booster (ILB) is bi-directional and amplifies both uplink and downlink signals. The unit is typically installed on the internal (or server) antenna side of a BDA, increasing the overall system gain by up to 30 dB in both directions. The gain in each direction can be independently adjusted over a 30 dB range in 2 dB steps for optimum system performance.
Typical Applications
The Model 130 ILB is typically used in in-building system applications where additional gain is required to compensate for excessive coaxial cable loss. If the ILB is mounted in a location where a standard outlet is unavailable, a bias tee can be used to power the unit via the existing coax cable. Several bias tee options are available and the necessary bias tee model is determined by the system configuration.
